A scientist walked into the food industry.
I'm Michelle Kedogo, scientist and founder of Local Greenz Market.
After three science degrees and years working in molecular assay development in the UK, I came back to a much more everyday problem: why had choosing good food become so complicated?
Local Greenz is my answer.
We source carefully, read the labels and ask the questions so you don't have to.

Every product we stock earns its place on our shelves.
Not everything marketed as healthy belongs at Local Greenz. Before something reaches our customers, we take the time to understand what it is, where it comes from and whether it meets our standards.
Supplier review
We get to know who is behind our food and ask the questions that matter before bringing a new supplier on board.
Product evaluation
We look beyond the marketing to understand the product, its ingredients and whether it belongs at Local Greenz.
Delivery inspection
Every delivery is checked before it reaches our shelves, with fresh produce assessed for quality and freshness.
Ongoing review
Our work doesn't stop once a product is stocked. We continue to review quality and listen closely to customer feedback.
Because food you don't have to second-guess starts long before it reaches the shelf.
What are you eating for?
Pick a goal. You get a curated shelf, a suggested basket, and a one-tap order.
Meet the people behind your food
Every great product has a story. Ours often starts on a farm. We're proud to work with growers, producers, and suppliers who care deeply about quality. By building direct relationships wherever possible, we gain a better understanding of how food is grown, harvested, and handled before it reaches our shelves. It's one more way we're building trust, one partnership at a time.
From the journal
Most people are not struggling to eat well because they do not care. They are tired, busy, or life gets heavy, and survival often speaks louder than prevention.
There is a version of healthy living sold online every day that assumes everyone has free mornings, disposable income, and endless motivation. For most people, that is simply not real life.
There is a belief that health requires a big commitment to be worth making. That unless you are doing everything right, the small things do not count. This belief is one of the main reasons people stall.
