We measure how the shop is used with PostHog, hosted in the European Union. It sets a cookie so we can tell a returning visit from a new one, which is how we learn whether the shop is actually working for people.

PostHog measures nothing until you accept. We ask on your first visit. Until you choose, no PostHog cookie is placed and no information is sent to it, from your browser or from our servers. If you decline, none is placed at all and the shop works exactly the same. You can change your mind about both by clearing this site's data in your browser, which removes the stored choice and brings the question back.

We do not record your screen, and we do not use analytics to track you across other websites.

We use Klaviyo, an email service based in the United States, to run our newsletter and order follow-ups. Its script loads only after you accept the question on your first visit, the same one that covers analytics. Once loaded, it sets a cookie that links your browser to your subscription, so that an email we send you can be about the things you actually looked at, or remind you of a basket you left.

Accepting also lets us tell Klaviyo when an order you placed has been paid: the items, the amounts and the order number, with the email address you gave at checkout or on your account. Your phone number is never sent. If you decline, the script never loads and no order is shared, unless you join the Greenz Circle newsletter, which is its own yes.

To leave the mailing list, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to hello@localgreenzmarket.com.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, to remember the items in your basket, and to record your answer to the question on your first visit so that we do not ask again. These are required for the site to work.

You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
